A warm welcome from the Arbor Tree Festival

ARBOR DAY

A unique, historic, family fun day out. 
Annually on the last  Sunday in May.
   At  the village of  Aston on Clun,
near Craven Arms,  South Shropshire

This is our famous Arbor Tree, where each year, we celebrate Arbor day, with a Children's  pageant remembering the 1786 wedding of a local Squire, plus entertainment and food on our

Village Green

You are welcome to come and visit any time: come and have a bite to eat at the Kangaroo Inn, and stroll around our peaceful little village, in this area of outstanding  natural beauty, set amongst Shropshire's
          'Blue Remembered Hills'

The festival started at 1.15pm
with Morris Dancing under the Tree
and included:
The children's 'Wedding'  Pageant
The Arbor Tree Ceremony
Entertainment on the Village Green

This Year Admission was:  FREE
plus FREE car parking
in Village Green Car Park
